| I saw the trailers and I knew it was in when I went to see Bad Santa. Nice is not Santa or Santa Travieso, but BAAADD SANTA, Santa horribly drunk and disorderly. Santa crude and rude. I laughed until the tears flow to my face. There are a lot of sexual situations and profanity, but you have to look past it. Those sensitive to foul language should not watch this film, or Four Weddings and a Funeral. This is not a kiddie Bad Santa Comedy but a DivX Movie Bad Santa for adults. Compared with Elf, Santa Claus, and a lot of other so-related Christmas comedy, this is one of the best. Most movies are always holiday mood in lightside with an eye on the market for children during the holidays. This exists in a range from A Christmas Story and planes, trains and automobiles and GRINCHO WHO STOLE Christmas (animated version). BAD SANTA Christmas is at its darkest, full of profanity, bad people and bad deeds. But in the heart of it is a small sample of care by a bad Santa. |
| "Bad Santa" is an incredibly bad movie. Billy Bob Thornton plays Willie, a man always intoxicated (and incredibly hot), which together with the pint-sized friend Marcus (Tony Cox equally bad), steal in department stores where they work during the holidays. During his last caper, Willie has several complications in her life: a boy (Brett Kelly Sweet), who lives with his grandmother (Cloris Leachman), since his father is "in the mountains (actually in jail for embezzlement ). Decides to stay because the child becomes attached to it. Another complication is Sue (Lauren Graham of "The Gilmore Girls"), which has a thing for Santa (a TV out of its role, that's for sure!) . Willie has problems of late, including his boss (The late John Ritter, who plays the baffled chief VERY well), and the security chief (Bernie Mac). Keep an eye out for John Bunnell (World Wild Police Videos). Bad Movies (Language is very, very hard !!!). The unrated version (Badder Santa) is really good and have a look! And for God's sake, do not let your children see this film, because Santa is not for them! |
| Best comedy ever - Billy Bob Thornton, a line are fantastic. I recommended this DVD film Bad Santa for many people, but I do not think it will never live up to its hype. But he did! I almost wet that it is sometimes funny. Very few of the comedy have been close. The best line in the Bad Santa movie by Billy Bob who is having sex with a girl in the locker room and says "when you're finished with you, sh * t is not right for a month." What a line and more of this type . Could you see this Bad Santa Comedy film again and again. It should be at 250, no doubt. I think that one is asking a bit much to have to write 10 lines - getting bored now! |
| "Bad Santa" is just that - bad, and not in a good way. It's horrible. Of course, no matter twisted, depraved, dark comedy, but this is a completely moronic and witless. Go "Very Bad Things"? Dark and offensive, but the script is smart. Characters are full of hatred, but they did evil things because they were forced into desperate situations. Throughout "Bad Santa", simply because it is a pr * ck, BB Thornton yelling and humiliated fat kid. I do not care if it seems cruel, it's just boorish and unfunny. There is no reason in the world this kid who wants to hang out with him, much less invite BBT to live with him and his grandmother. There is also no reason to be hot Lauren Graham remotely interested in this drunk bum urine-soaked, but the screws in his car. And then there is Bernie Mac who has a fetish for oranges and cigarettes. Huh? I can not understand why it is considered funny. The interesting character is a dwarf who acts as an accomplice of the BBT. Their only concern is its next stores affected. It's the only thing that makes sense in this mess. Therefore, stay away from this garbage, it is very painful to sit through. It is the Coen brothers claim to shame. |
| I saw this in the theater with the old. Believe it or not, some people brought their small children to this, apparently thinking that was typical fare for the xmas Bad Santa movie "The Santa Clause." As they sat there in shock, with their jaws on the ground, the wife and I chortled and guffawed * OUT LOUD with loud roars of joy! We were the only people who knew what we were before entering, and in my opinion, the only people who really enjoyed the movie. Flawless performances by all. Intelligent, twisting script with unexpected surprises that only seems to keep coming. John Ritter commercial manager of image caught was worth the price alone - even better than his "Sling Blade" performance. "What about f'ing sandwiches?" remains a humorous phrase in our home * years later! I seldom buy the films that I normally can not see the same thing over and over again (as opposed to listening to music), but I bought this because I think it is one of the most enjoyable movies ever made, along with "Young Frankenstein" (another in my FAVE roared into the theater in its original version = uh-oh, now I'm dating). |
| Producers could sew Bad Santa, since it completely broke my gut. When you're about ten seconds in the film, which are basically warned about what is: a crude, funny as hell film: Bad Santa about Christmas, and a drunk who works as a mall Santa for the holidays. Billy Bob Thorton is a genius in this film. After the Bad Santa Comedy movie is more, you may find yourself asking "how do you do that." Yes, Billy Bob Thorton is good in this movie. He grabs the box absolutely laughable from the beginning, and shakes for the next 98 minutes. However, this is not everything that is bad Santa. There is some good moments, like when Billy Bob Thorton is attached to the "girl." Bad Santa is funny almost all the time, apparently without even trying. For example, even when the child said his name is funny. "Thurman Murman. I laughed so hard that at one stage, I do not think that even meant to be funny. Bad Santa is obviously not for people with a great spirit of Christmas, but it is still a great comedy. One of the funniest movies ever made, no doubt. |
