| (Very mild spoilers) I grew up watching movies in this style that is much higher - Tracy and Hepburn, so I went to this with a very skeptical despite appreciating the work of Pierce Brosnan in general. Romantic comedy, do it right, it is only predictable in its broadest strokes. To be really interesting and re-watchable requires that at least some of the drawings have predictabilities without ruining the final result. Not only was this one of the most pleasant of its kind I have ever seen, Brosnan, Moore and Fischer * wonderful in their portrayals of their characters. Fischer could not have been more fun or spot in his portrait of mom. Brosnan and Moore not only clearly had fun making this romantic comedy also succeeded quite well. For those who cut their teeth or Philidelphia rib of Adam, this is a beautiful tribute to their predecessors. Finding out that Brosnan was a fan of Tracy / Hepburn movies after the fact is not surprising at all. I was not so much fun in a 2 rockers, as some - that seemed at times forced.
